Imon Mukherjee received his Ph.D. (Engg.) degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in July 2015. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor (Gr.-I) in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani (an Institute of National Importance under Govt. of India) since July, 2016. Earlier, he was an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering of the Institute of Technology and Marine Engineering, now The Neotia University, West Bengal, India from August 2006 to December 2011. Then from January 2012, he was associated with the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, St. Thomas' College of Engineering & Technology, Kolkata, India, with the same designation. He has published more than sixty research papers in reputed journals and conferences. He is the principal investigator of several govt. funded projects. He serves as editor and reviewer of several peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. His research mainly focuses on information security.
