Currently, Dr. Yadav works as a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in the Computer Science Department at the University of York in the UK, and is also a visiting research fellow at the Computer Lab of Cambridge University. Her research is focused on improving the resilience, reliability, and robustness of distributed systems based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and edge computing. Dr. Yadav actively serves as a reviewer for numerous top-tier ACM/IEEE IoT and networking conferences and journals. Additionally, she is the leader of the ACM-W UK professional chapter, and has been recognized as one of the "People of ACM Europe" and among the top ten N2Women Rising Stars in Computer networking and communications in 2020. Dr. Yadav also co-leads the EPSRC Funded Communications Hub for Empowering Distributed Cloud Computing Applications and Research.
